Conditions of the Competition

Eligibility

Two person teams. Members may create their own foursome or sign up as a two person team to be paired by the tournament coordinator. Handicaps will be used as of May 9th, 2022.

Format

1st Round at Devils Knob Golf Course: 1 P.M. Shotgun

  • Front Nine:  Better Ball – Each player will play their own ball into the hole. Record both gross and net scores.
  • Back Nine:   Captain’s Choice – Both players tee off. Select the best drive. Both players then hit from that spot and continue in this fashion until the ball is holed.  Ball may be placed within one club length, no nearer to the hole, except on the green, where it must be played from its original spot. Conditions must remain the same (ex. Rough-Rough).

2nd Round at Stoney Creek Golf Course: 9 A.M. Shotgun

  • Front Nine: Better Ball – Each player will play their own ball into the hole. Record both gross and net scores.
  • Back Nine:  Modified Alternate Shot – Both players tee off, each plays their partner’s ball for the 2nd shot. For the 3rd shot, select one ball to be played alternately into the hole. Other than holed putts and tee shots, players cannot hit any shots consecutively.
